Our Board Members bring a diverse array of expertise, passion, and personal experience to guide our mission forward. Each member is dedicated to promoting awareness, supporting early screening initiatives, and providing resources to those affected by this disease. Together, they embody the spirit of community and resilience, working tirelessly to ensure that Jamey's vision for a healthier future is realized. Knight Crocker Sauls
Knight Crocker Sauls stands as HCRC’s President to the Board of Directors. She helped create the HCRC fund and previously stood as Vice President of the Board in 2022.
She spearheads the impactful Light It Blue awareness campaign and orchestrates initiatives like yard flag and lantern sales throughout March, amplifying our message during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Knight attended Sewanee University of South with Jamey and has been a lifelong friend. She has also battled colon cancer and understands the journey intimately, fueling her passion to drive awareness and research forward.
Knight works in Special Education at Crestline Elementary School and is a licensed professional counselor. She draws strength from her role as a mother to two college-age children and the rest of her family.
Warner McGowin
Warner McGowin serves on the HCRC Fund’s Board of Directors and has been a longtime friend to Jamey Hollingsworth. Their friendship dates back to 1984 when they bonded through shared passions of music, fishing, the outdoors, and Auburn football.
Warner is married to Cathy Warner and shares his life with her and their four children.
He is the owner of McGowin-King Mortgage, LLC.
Warner's steadfast commitment to the HCRC Board reflects his professional and personal passion for those affected by colorectal cancer.
C. Alan Hand
Alan Hand, a longtime friend of Jamey since their T-Ball days, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the Hollingsworth Board. Currently serving his second year, Alan greatly enjoys working alongside Jamey's friends to support a noble cause.
As the Managing Director of Hand Wealth Management, Alan boasts 23 years of experience in the financial industry. His expertise extends to working with non-profits, small businesses, families, and individuals to help them achieve their financial goals.
Alan, a Samford University graduate, engages in various civic and community organizations such as The Creative Montessori School of Homewood and Globeworks International. He sits on the Board of The Civitan Club of Birmingham, where he served as chairman for many years
Married to Leslie Hand, an attorney at Smith, Spires, Peddy, Hamilton & Coleman, Alan is a proud parent to Madeline and Elizabeth Hand. In his leisure time, he enjoys quality moments with his family and indulges in his passions for golf, fishing, and working on non-profit projects.
Scott Barringer
Scott Barringer, a resident of Birmingham, AL, is married to Tracey Evins Barringer, with whom he has three sons. He actively participates in various civic and community organizations such as the Church of the Advent, Kiwanis Club, and the St. Andrews Society. Scott also supports Studio by The Tracks, the United Way, the H2O Foundation, and Brother Bryan Mission.
Scott earned an undergraduate degree from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1993; followed by a Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1997. He currently works as a CPA for the firm he founded in 2017, Barringer CPA LLC.
Charles Robinson, Jr.
Charles L. Robinson, Jr., CCIM, a Principal at Red Rock Realty Group and LAH Sotheby's International Realty, has been in commercial real estate since 2007. Charles attended Altamont and later Sewanee with his good friend Jamey. In 1993, Charles graduated with a B.S. in Natural Resources. He then served in the U.S. Peace Corps for over two years and later earned a Master of Forestry degree from Duke University. Charles served as the first president of the Hollingworth Colorectal Cancer Awareness Fund in 2022-2023.

In 2007, he partnered with Tom Carruthers, CCIM, and acquired Property Managers, a local property management company established in 1934, which they later rebranded as Red Rock Realty Group. He specializes in assembling groups that acquire, stabilize, and add value to real estate investments.
Charles enjoys being a member of a BBA Entrepreneurs’ Roundtable Group where he receives the support of other local business owners. Charles is also a member at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and has served on several Kairos prison ministry teams at Elmore Correctional Facility. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Charles is married and has four children.
